Why are hybrid batteries not recyclable? - cheapest metal core wheel
I keep hearing things to say, the hybrid batteries are not recyclable.
Why do you say that? Can they be submitted in support of concrete evidence?
Small lead-acid batteries used in vehicles today, and are 100% recyclable (here in the U.S.). Using acid, which is more toxic than the alkaline electrolyte in most modern batteries. Also, the use of lead, a metal which is very cheap, and yet the $ 5 fee is justified in this core. Since these are new batteries, nickel, lithium and other valuables, and therefore probably have a core of just $ 300.
