Insulin resistance and a vegan/vegetarian diet? - insulin resistance diet more condition_symptoms

I've heard that a vegan / vegetarian diet can improve insulin resistance, but it seems likely a diet rich in carbohydrates to favor. A diet rich in carbohydrates, insulin resistance and exacerbated my fast makes me gain weight. I'm always interested in a vegetarian, but I am not going to gain weight.

Anyone who knows anything about this or someone may contain links to gather more information?

Check this site has a good amount of information about a healthy vegetarian. It promotes a diet rich in carbohydrates, but takes the position that while carbohydrates are complex and not easy does not cause weight gain. Read for yourself and see what you think.

Good luck.

I try with the same problem. When carbohydrates means "strength" Eating well, but a very good vegetarian / vegan diet is not on food. Base your diet on NO starchy vegetables, is key in foods with low glycemic index. http://www.pcrm.org/magazine/gm06autumn/ ...

Personally, I eat a high percentage of my diet as RAW, eat lots of salad with fresh vegetables, lightly cooked low fat. If you use starch, is brown rice in small portions, the same thing with pasta. I'm only 1 / 2 the amount of what as a serving and finding which is not activated blood sugar or insulin resistance.

I hope this is a little help.
